Finally, old Wolfy?s got his poppa! The Wolfman, Universal?s long-gestating hairy-palmed baby, was a boat without a captain with Mark Romanek?s directorial drop-out (and how?s that for mixed metaphors!). But A?Hoy! Universal has hired Joe (Jurassic Park 3) Johnston to direct the film. Benecio Del Toro, Anthony Hopkins and Emily Blunt are all still signed on to the film. Wow, the old style pacing of a classic monster movie meets the hack and slash job of a director not comfortable with his work! Expect an anti-climactic ending involving air blown through a replica?s of the Wolfman?s vocal chords.
