John Landis to Direct William 'Mad Magazine' Gaines Biopic

John Landis (An American Werewolf in London) is set to direct a biopic of the founder of Mad Magazine and Tales from the Crypt, William M. Gaines. The film, entitled Ghoulishly Yours, William M. Gaines, will see John Landis focusing on the life and times of the comic creator, who went against the comics code of the time, and sought to keep his work appropriate to its subject matter, even if it was a bit gory. Keep an eye out for this upcoming film, directed by Landis and written by Joel Eisenberg.
