This morning, we got word that an uncontrollable violent-sex-craze will take over the urges of a small quaint rural town?s population! But don?t go booking your plane ticket to small-town USA just yet. The news today comes from Variety.com, which reports that Barbarian Film Fund (who also financed Ashton Kutcher?s upcoming Spread) will finance the psychological thriller, Urge, written by Guy Busick. Urge centers on a small town, which falls victim to a failed government experiment that infects the townspeople with the Urge, an uncontrollably violent sex craze, and a group of unexposed locals fight to survive. The project will be produced by Darby Parker and his Williamsburg Media Cult, but has not yet received a director.
