While all in all the Oscars were a bit of a bore last night, we did see some interesting wins. Taking best art direction was the ever bloody, ever gore-filled musical Sweeney Todd. We landed an exclusive interview with Johnny Depp and Tim Burton long before Oscar season. Diablo Cody took best screenplay for Juno at the Oscars, which we only mention because the lovely, enigmatic Cody will next be working on Jennifer?s Body, a horror flick, along with her Juno director, Jason Reitman. We caught up with the scribe in our exclusive interview with Diablo Cody. Finally, taking home the Oscar for best supporting actor, was Javier Bardem for his portrayal of the cold, calculating killer Anton Chigurh in No Country for Old Men. So there we go, Oscars go to the way blood was splattered, a horror-minded ex-stripper, and a serial killer. God bless America!
