'Hello Mary Lou: Prom Night II' Hits DVD April 1st
If nothing else, 1987 provided for one of the wackiest slasher sequels known to horror-kind in Hello Mary Lou: Prom Night II. More of a possession move than a true blue slasher flick, this film is beyond crazy, like Carrie on crack. Thank the heavens above (and this is NOT an April Fool's joke) on April 1st MGM is releasing a budget priced widescreen DVD of Hello Mary Lou: Prom Night II with a brand new widescreen transfer just in time for Sony's theatrical release of Prom Night. I wouldn't expect much in the extras department, but at around 10 bucks, this one is a no brainer. Hell, it's worth the price of admission for that locker scene itself.
