Gerard Butler Cast in ?Watchmen?s? ?Tales of the Black Freighter?
Gerard Butler has been confirmed for a role in Watchmen. According to Empire Online, Butler will voice the lead character in an animated segment to be featured in Watchmen, titled Tales of the Black Freighter. Tales of the Black Freighter was a comic within the comic of Watchmen that told the story of a sailor shipwrecked after being attacked by a, you guessed it, Black Freighter. It depicts the lengths he will go to in order to survive. It has not been confirmed whether this piece will be in the film itself, or whether it will be a bonus feature on the DVD, but it is being made, and Butler is in it?so we?ll consider that very good news.
