Shooting Resumes on Gilliam's 'Parnassus'
Filming has once again begun in Vancouver for Terry Gilliam?s The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus. According to Variety the film was put on hold after the tragic death of Heath Ledger, the star of the film. Because of the fantastical nature of the film, it was possible to continue work on the Imaginarium with different actors playing the fantastic versions of Heath. Each time his character would step through a mirror, he would change. The three big name actors that offered to play roles of Ledger include Colin Farrell, Jude Law, and Johnny Depp. No word on a new release date for The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus, but it?s nice to see that it wasn?t curbed forever.
