First 'Friday the 13th' Casting News?
We just caught up with Scout Taylor Compton aka Laurie Strode, from Halloween 2007 at Texas Frightmare Weekend in Dallas who told us that she was approached about taking a role in Platinum Dunes Friday the 13th remake.
She continues to tell FEARnet, "In April Fool's Day (on DVD March 25th), my role is Torrance she's like Laurie Strode (from Halloween), very innocent, keeps to herself it's about this group of friends that are accusing each other of killing one of our friends and it's basically just trying to find out who did it."
When asked if she enjoys being in remakes Scout tells us, "You know, I do and I'm just talking about doing Friday the 13th but I don't know about it. They should just keep all of the originals themselves I mean just come up with something more original, you know. There's enough remakes happening right now."
