After its initial release, as the sickest, most disgusting and bloody flick to ever hit Belgium, Lucker the Necrophagous became a ?lost? film for over a decade when its materials were destroyed, but, over twenty years later, the gore still cannot be defeated, and director Johan Vandewoestijne?s feature will be available on Special Edition DVD from Synapse!

The gorefest surrounds John Lucker, a serial rapist and killer who committed eight brutal murders and kept the corpses around for sexual pleasure, after he escapes a clinic, in pursuit of the one woman who escaped his sadistic rampage the first time he tried to kill her. In the process, of course, he?s going to shed a ton of blood!

The Special Edition DVD, of the film, which has NEVER been released on DVD, includes more than enough blood and gore, as well as the Lucker Director?s Cut, original VHS version of Lucker in English, widescreen presentation, a behind-the-scenes featurette, and, of course, Dutch subtitles?for just under $20 on May 20th.
