Universal and Dark Horse Comics Make 3 Year Deal
Like an old fashioned Marvel Tag team comic, Dark Horse Comics and Universal have combined forces for a three year deal. With the deal, Universal will have access to all Dark Horse characters, and all properties they pick up to work with, while Dark Horse is guaranteed distribution. The deal seems a little one sided, but I?m sure Dark Horse knows what they?re doing, right? Expect more, more, more exciting titles like The Mask, Mystery Men and Hellboy II: The Golden Army (starring Doug Jones, whom we interviewed)?well, 2 out of 3 ain?t bad, right? (Remember this news story three years from now, when Dark Horse is swindled out of their estate by the sexy lover that is Universal!)
