James Remar Joins Cast of 'Unborn'
Variety reports that James (Dexter) Remar has just signed on for a role opposite Gary Oldman and Carla Gugino in David S. Goyer?s upcoming horror flick, Unborn. The Platinum Dunes flick is currently filming and centers on ?A young woman (who) fights the spirit that is slowly taking possession of her?. There?s gotta be more to it than that. Goyer is quickly becoming a mainstay in Hollywood, having written Jumper and worked on the story for The Dark Knight. His latest directorial effort was the suspense thriller, The Invisible. But let?s talk about Platinum Dunes and Michael ?Fios? Bay for a second. With scheduled remakes of Friday the 13th, Nightmare on Elm Street and Rosemary?s Baby in the works, we should be doing cartwheels in celebration of the fact that Unborn sounds ?somehwhat? original.
