?Rec? gets Remade

Rec, the Spanish language horror film about a deadly strain of rabies, has been chosen to be remade by Screen Gems. The remake will be directed and written by Drew Dowdle and John Erick Dowdle. The two created the horror film The Poughkeepsie Tapes.
The film centers around a group of people caught in a downtown L.A. apartment complex when a dangerous and deadly strain of rabies is unleashed. The group gets quarantined and must survive the horrors that await them in the locked down apartment.
