William Monahan Pens 'Playboy' Thriller
We knew sooner or later Hollywood would start ripping their ideas from the pages of Playboy and according to Variety.com, Paramount is doing just that! William Monahan, the writer of The Departed, will pen a fact-based thriller on an article that will appear in Playboy later this year. The story is about a drug dealer who traded a prison sentence to go undercover at a maximum security hospital for the criminally insane where he tries to get a serial killer to divulge the whereabouts of his victims. Career wise, let?s just say it?s a good thing for Monahan to say he reads Playboy for the articles, cause that?s what we do!
