Dreamworks Picks Up New Peter Morgan Thriller
Dreamworks has just picked up the rights to a thriller script by Peter Morgan (The Other Boleyn Girl) called Hereafter, according to Variety. The film is said to be in the vain of The Sixth Sense, but more interesting is the price that this sucker went for. Apparently, the deal was made in the low seven figures range, with multiple millions optioned if the film gets made! That?s a lot for an original, horror spec script, so this could be something very good. Or, it could just be that this dude wrote The Last King of Scotland, The Other Boleyn Girl, and The Queen.
