Weekend Box-Office Recap!
It wasn?t a great weekend for horror at the box office, but it wasn?t terrible either. While movies about gambling, elephants, and superhero spoofs captured the broad attentions of filmgoers, some still avoided the reviews and went to see Shutter. The film placed 6th at the box office and brought in $5.3M, making its accumulated total, for the two weeks it?s been in theaters, $19.1M. 10,000 B.C. is also still making some noise in theaters, bringing in $4.8M this weekend for an accumulated total of $84.9M?not bad for a bunch of L.A. kids running around with spray-on tans and dreadlocks!
