Jason Cast in 'Friday the 13th' Remake!!!
News just broke via Ain't It Cool that the new Jason in the Friday the 13th remake has been cast. Ladies and gentlemen, let?s hear it for Derek Mears?your new Jason! The dude?s been acting for a little while now (in films like The Hills Have Eyes II and D-War) and doing stuntwork (in films like Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull). It should be interesting to see how he plays the role, especially with the new fluid, character-driven story that scribes Damian Shannon and Mark Swift are supposedly crafting!
