Shia LaBeouf Signs on for 'Dark Fields'
Good old Shia, always working! Shia LaBeouf (Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, Even Stevens) has just signed on to star in the upcoming Dark Fields for Universal, according to Variety. The film, based on the 2002 novel by Alan Glynn, follows LaBeouf as a slacker who finds a drug that makes him smarter. He takes all he can get from the drug (riches, social status, etc.), but finds it has some terrifying, and possibly deadly, side effects.
