Dream Works to Adapt 'Atlantis Rising'!
Dream Works just picked up the rights to a live-action feature-film adaptation of the comic book Atlantis Rising. The comic, a Platinum Studios release, follows navy teams that investigate disturbances in the deepest part of the sea, where an underground civilization springs forth and attacks the Earth. Fear not however! Though Atlantis Rising may seem like a terrible mash-up of Aquaman and the Pod People, the producers assure us it?ll be lacking on the cheese factor, "No sea horses or tridents here," Hollywood Reporter says.
