Phoenix Pictures has just snatched up the rights to Javier Rodriguez?s script The Heretic, according to Variety. The script, having fun with a bit of revisionist history, is about a fallen priest-turned-hitman in Renaissance times who?s hired to assassinate Martin Luther! Hmm?because we know Martin Luther wasn?t assassinated, does that mean the ending is ruined!? Bummer!
