'Descent 2' Has a Director!
Director Neil (Doomsday) Marshall drove the original cave-spelunking, all-girl horror show, The Descent, to pick up an impressive $57M at the box office. Now, according to The Reporter, Celador Films is teaming up with Pathe again to create Descent 2 (remember when it was Des2ent?). Jon Harris, the editor of the last film, is set to direct this feature, which will star two of the actresses in the original film--Shauna MacDonald and Natalie Mendoza (pictured above). Apparently the story will follow one woman?s journey back into the caves to save the survivors from the first film. What's that? You say there were no survivors in the first film?
