Universal to Produce Holy Grail Thriller 'The Knights Templar'!
Universal has just acquired The Knights Templar, a spec script written by Universal story department veteran, Adam Torchia and pal Justin Stanley (Beneath Loch Ness, Witchfinders) planned for producers Marc Platt and filmmaker Timur Bekmambetov (Night Watch, Wanted), according to HollywoodReporter.com. Though no director has been assigned and the film is in the earliest of stages, the script, a period actioner, revolves around a band of knights who, fresh from the Crusades, fend off an invading vampire army seeking to destroy the Holy Grail.
