George Romero's 'Diary of the Dead' to Hit DVD on May 20th!
It looks like May 20th will be the day for Romero?s Dead to come alive once more?on DVD! We just received word that the latest installment to Romero?s zombie saga, Diary of the Dead, as well as a 40th anniversary edition of the classic Night of the Living Dead, will hit DVD on May 20th from Dimension Extreme for only $24.95 each!
Diary will have bonus features like an optional audio commentary by Romero, character confessions, a making-of, and the top five Myspace contest shorts. The new anniversary edition of Night will also pack in forty years worth of undead extras, including a fully restored and remastered version of the 1968 classic, audio commentaries from Romero, the recently deceased Karl Hardman, and daughter Kyra Schon, Marilyn Eastman, John A Russo, Russel Streiner, Vince Survinski, Judith O?Dea, Bill Hinzman, and Keith Wayne. It?ll also sport a handful of featurettes, including ?The Legacy of Night of the Living Dead?, interviews, a trailer, still gallery, and the original script.
