Superman Star For 'Dead of Night'
Today we got news that Brandon 'Superman Returns' Routh will be starring in Dead of Night, a new film directed by Kevin Munroe and Joshua Oppenheimer, and written by Thomas Dead Donnelly. The film is based on the bestselling Italian comic-book series Dylan Dog, which since it was first published in 1986 has been translated into 17 languages. Since hanging up his Superman tights in 2006, Routh has been cast in an episode of the new Masters of Horror-esque series Fear Itself. His epsiode, Community, is directed by the Mary Harron, of American Psycho fame. According to Variety.com, Routh will also topline Dead of Night, as a private investigator ?drawn to the world of the undead.?
