New 'Watchmen' Video Footage!
Today, the official Watchmen siteupdated their video journal with their second entry! Expected to hit theaters in March of 2009, this film adaptation of the '80s graphic novel masterpiece, as directed by Zach Snyder (300), is about a "washed-up? masked vigilante Rorschach, who ?sets out to uncover a plot to kill and discredit all past and present superheroes.? Since late April, the Watchmen team has been posting to a video journal; and if the last journal entry left you wondering, what skin-tight latex number hottie surpreme Carla Gugino (Sin City) will be donning, well, you pervs are in luck! In entry number 2, Watchmen costume designer Michael Wilkinson tells us what to expect, and spends a lot of time talking about things like hickory stripes and period-appropriate cowboy boots--which may not be of interest to any of you; but while he babbles on, we do get to see pretty awesome concept art, costume sketches, comic-book comparisons, a sneak peek of Zach Snyder on set...and the costumes we can expect to see Gugino wear as the sexy Silk Spectre!
