'Magic' Horror Classic Gets DVD Release
Horror classic The Queen of Black Magic will be getting a region 1 DVD release courtesy of Mondo Macabro, or so reports Cinematical. The controversial 1979 gorefest revolves around Murni, the queen of "dark arts", who is cast aside by a fickle lover. In retribution, she casts a variety of spells against humanity--with the male population her favorite target. Soon, virtually every man around is Murni's love slave. As we all are well aware, however, nothing is simple when you combine magical spells and hot, aboriginal love. Horror-centric cinephiles can own the DVD on May 27th. But buyer beware? you?ll be involving yourself in some of the most quintessential Grindhouse cheese ever processed.
