Werner Herzog and David Lynch to Team Up!
Filmic auteurs and resident weirdos David Lynch (Mulholland Drive, Blue Velvet) and Werner Herzog (Grizzly Man, Rescue Dawn) have announced that they will team up on the blood-soaked murder drama My Son, My Son, says The Hollywood Reporter. Herzog and his long time AD Herbert Golder penned the script, which was based on the true story of a San Diego man who acts out a Sophocles play in his mind and kills his mother with a sword. Both filmmakers plan to implement their unique story-telling skills with Herzog in the director?s seat and Lynch executive-producing. Should be a treat for all fans of the bizarre!
