Namco-Bandai, one of the oldest video game developers still alive and kickin?, has released stills and details (Oooooh! Details!) for their upcoming horror title Splatterhouse. Namco has described the game as one ?combining visceral, adrenaline-soaked combat with horror elements to deliver a gaming experience that defies the boundaries of the traditional action category with over-the-top gore and shocking new gameplay mechanics." The game, as some may recognize it, is a remake of the 80's arcade game by the same developers. Though the title alone was probably enough to raise an eyebrow for you nex-gen console kids unaware of the game's linneage, G4 has posted some incredibly stills from the game that could possibly raise your other eyebrow. This comes after news that Clive Barker?s Jericho won the Pokemon Snap award for best horror videogame of the past year. Splatterhouse will release for XBox 360 and PS3, however, when is unknown as of now.
