Captain American Gladiator?
What do Joshua Jackson (not Batman), Jake Gyllenhaal (not Spiderman), and Titan from American Gladiators (not a celebrity) have in common? They all at some point aspired to appear on the big screen in super hero form. Aspired being the operative word. Well last night FEARnet was at the red carpet premiere of the Hulk and while the stars were out (Ed Norton, Stan Lee, Liv Tyler?) so were those enjoying their 15 minutes of you know what. Among said pseudo-celebs was American Gladiator contestant Titan. As you may or may not know, American Gladiators has recently run an episode promoting the new Hulk film, even bringing the original Hulk, Lou Ferrigno, on board as a guest host. Titan had a few word with us saying that he?d love to try out for the roles of Thor or Captain America. While the dates that we?ll get to see these two superheroes on screen have just recently been announced ? no casting has been yet. So could we potentially be seeing Titan in the red, white, and blue of the Captain, or hoisting the hammer of Thor? I guess only time will tell, but what is for sure is that stranger things have happened in the world of superhero movies.
