Monk and Hilgenbrinck head for 'The Hills'
Mildly entertaining horror news came down the wire today from Hollywood Reporter. Looks like Sophie Monk (Date Movie) and Tad Hilgenbrinck (Lost Boys: The Tribe) are set to star in The Hills Run Red from Dark Castle and Warner Premier. Dark Castle's been bringing you horror movies like 1999's House on Haunted Hill, Gothika, 2005's House of Wax, and The Reaping: so expect something similar to those titles. The horror flicko follows film fanatics intent on finding a complete print of a famous slasher movie. Their quest brings them to the original woods were the slasher was shot, and they soon realize that the movie?s lack of an ending isn?t due to a missing print, but rather to a horrible end the production met. Now THEY have to survive an attack! This same thing happened to my friends and I when we went looking for the set of Ghoulies III: Ghoulies go to College. What we found there still gives me the willies.
