NBC has been giving us so much stuff to gear up for its summer series Fear Itself?s premiere on FEARnet this September that I?ve done run out of fear-centric jokes to tell! All I can say now is, this time?they brought cake. We just got a couple behind-the-scenes set photos from the episode entitled ?The Sacrifice?, which aired on June 5th, and it looks like a certain vampire had a birthday. I mean seriously, you?d think when you were immortal you?d stop expecting people to celebrate your birthday. Either way they?re pretty cool pics with a custom-made cake from a recent screening party. In them, we?ve got the cake featuring the vampire that stands at the center of the episode, and one with director Breck Eisner (who's helming the upcoming remakes of the Creature of the Black Lagoon and The Crazies) and executive producer Andrew Deane with that beautiful confection. They?re pretty friggin' sweet (no pun intended).

?The Sacrifice? is a vampire tale set in a creepy, snow-covered old fort (so it's 30 Days of Night, right?). The episode stars Jeffrey Pierce, Rachel Miner (Penny Dreadful, The Black Dahlia), Mircea Monroe (House of the Dead 2), Stephen Martines (Kraa! The Sea Monster), and Jesse Plemons (Friday Night Lights, Varsity Blues, Generic High School Football Movie 3). With all those big names ? who wouldn?t want to check it out!
