Len Wiseman to Direct 'Gears of War'
Look Alive, Gears of War fans, lock and load! According to Hollywood Reporter, it looks like your favorite game about staying in the light and killing the Locust Horde is about to get a big screen adaptation. Chris Morgan, scripter on the upcoming Wanted, is set to write the screenplay based on the hit game. Len (Live Free or Die Hard) Wiseman is set to direct. For those who didn?t waste most of late 2006 on the game, you play as a small regiment of human soldiers on the planet Sera, where the evil Locust Horde, a group of monstrous people living underground, emerge to take control of the world. It is then your job to shoot them. Repeatedly.
