What?s up true horror believers? Do come to FEARnet day after day thinking about how you could do a better job than half the filmmakers in Hollywood? I know I do?and that?s exactly why I?m still working here! But all seriousness aside, if you?re thinking you?ve got the knack, than you might want to check out Anchor Bay?s website. The Hollywood Reporter has posted that the studio is giving fans the chance to help them promote their upcoming horror-comedy Brutal Massacre. The film?s about a fictional, washed-up director named Harry Penderecki, the man behind such (non-existent) titles as The Fish Who Ate Flesh and Sasquatch at the Mall. Anchor Bay?s contest challenges fans to create their own homemade trailers for Penderecki?s films?for a chance to win a $1,000 prize. The contest ends on July 15th, a week before the Brutal Massacre DVD hits shelves. Check out the official Anchor Bay contest submission rules.
