I don?t know about you people, but there are so many freakin? comic book/graphic novels being adapted to film that I can?t even keep track anymore. Well, today Film School Rejects (All-American Rejects? cooler, older brother) have gotten their mitts on a pic from the upcoming Jonah Hex film. Hex, which stars Thomas Jane as the titular character, is a Western tale about a gunslinger who goes around picking fights and saving the day. Unfortunately for the comic-book character, the make-up they put on Thomas Jane makes him look like Crater Face from Grease attending an audition for The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly. The Hex adaptation is being written by Crank scribes Brian Taylor and Mark Neveldine, who?ve confirmed they?ll be going full steam on the project once done Crank 2 (which releases April 17, 2009). Good luck, boys, hopefully the film you make winds up drawing a little bit more from the spaghetti westerns!
