Tear an Alien to Shreds in 'Dead Space'!
Good morning FEARnetians!! I?ve got some news coming at you from deeeeep space! Well, actually to be more specific ? Dead Space. G4 recently got their hands on the trailer and some details for this upcoming survival horror title and all I can say is? there hasn?t been this much intergalactic blood since Alien. Trust me you?re in for a treat. The trailer explains Dead Space?s unique style of battle which incorporates something called ?strategic dismemberment?. This term basically takes the old zombie adage of ?aim for the head? to a new level. In order to kill the Necromorphs within Dead Space (your alien nemeses) you actually have to take the aliens apart piece by piece. If you shoot off their arm, they?ll use the other arm to kill you. If you shoot off their leg they?ll crawl towards you until they can rip you apart. If you blow off their head?well, you get the picture. Pretty sweet, eh? That?s not the only cool thing going on in console gaming though. Our own Joe McCabe recently caught up with the developers at the New York Licensing Expo and got some details on their upcoming Ghostbusters video game!!
