Remember when you used to look at Arnold Schwarzenegger and NOT think he was a joke? I don?t (but that?s also because I remember Hercules in New York). Either way, the project that first launched Ahhnold to superstardom will be returning to the big screen for a new generation of kids who will have their lunch money stolen and be stuffed into lockers. That we know. What we didn?t know ? that is until today ? is that the Conan the Barbarian remake might be bringing the larger than life hero to box offices later than sooner. According to G4, the Conan script has been brought back in for another round of script tweaks. Sahara scribes Thomas Dean Donnelly and Joshua Oppenheimer have been hired by Nu Image and Millenium Films to try and give the script that something that it?s missing ? whatever that may be. The film was originally set to drop in ?09 but with script problems and no hired director or cast any release at all seems highly unlikely.
This isn't the first troubled script Donnelly and Oppenheimer have taken a crack at. Ever hear about this one?
