Roses Are 'Red', Rodriguez is Too...
This just in? another remake is on deck for a movie no one wanted to see the first time! Word is that Robert Rodriguez is set to produce his very own reimagining of the 1985 film Red Sonja starring his girlfriend Rose McGowan. Variety is reporting that Nu Image/Millennium Films is financing the pic under the direction of Douglas Aarniokoski from a script by David White. McGowan and Rodriguez met on the set of Grindhouse, a film produced by Rodriguez and his ex-wife/mother of his kids ? reaaaaal classy. The original Red Sonja starred Brigitte Neilsen and Arnold Schwarzenegger. The remake rolls in October.
