Joss Whedon's New Movie Script Gets Greenlit!
Big news for all you Whedon freaks out there! According to Hollywood Reporter MGM has just greenlit The Cabin in the Woods, a spec script by Buffy master Joss Whedon and Buffy and Cloverfield scripter Drew Goddard. Goddard is also on tap to direct the film, which would be his feature-film directorial debut. The details are on Super-Whedon-Lockdown (SWL, for those in the know), but Goddard exploded with excitement through his statement, ?I get to make a movie with my best friend at a studio that's shown us nothing but aggressive love from the start. This script is very near and dear to my heart?I can't wait to step behind the camera and mess up all the parts Joss wrote.? Now, show of hands, how many people are freaking out right now about this project? Go on, don?t be shy?
