New 'Mirrors' Image Released!
Ummm? so when the folks behind Mirrors started proclaiming their movie as ?the horror event of the summer,? it turns out they weren?t kidding! We?ve got a new still from the flick and boy is it gruesome. I knew Alex Aja was a twisted individual (High Tension, ending aside, is still one of the most messed-up movies I?ve seen in recent memory) but this deserves a standing O. Remember that jaw-ripping clip from Dario Argento?s Mother of Tears we posted a short while ago? This picture makes that look like Looney Tunes: Back in Action. The man behind the flick, Alex Aja, had this to say about the still: "With the opening of my film Mirrors just a few weeks away, I thought I would share a new tasty visual from one of my favorite scenes; a scene that I hope will change anyone's way of watching themselves in a mirror... Vanity can be dangerous sometimes and mirrors are not just glass and silver! - Ask Amy Smart... See you Friday July 25th at Comic-Con." Mirrors stars Kiefer Sutherland as an ex-cop who must protect his family from an evil force using mirrors as a gateway into their home. The film drops on August 15th, but in the meantime check out the picture below!
