Alexandre Aja's Partner to Direct 'Holy Money'!
Cinematographer Maxime Alexandre (who worked with Alexandre Aja on High Tension and Mirrors) is jumping up the pay grade after scoring his own directorial effort. After having served as the DP on many projects--including The Hills Have Eyes and Catacombs--Alexandre has been given the task of directing the upcoming thriller Holy Money, according to the film?s official website. The pic, which Alexandre also co-wrote, revolves around a man who must solve the mystery surrounding his best friend's death, and the horrifying secret that hides behind it. The film stars the Hills Have Eyes alum Aaron Stanford and has not yet been slotted for release.
