Darren Lynn Bousman to Direct Next 'Leprechaun' Movie?!
Good things that have come from leprechauns: Pots of gold? Check. Lucky Charms? Check. The acting career of Jennifer Aniston? F*** Leprechauns! In fact, now reflecting upon the matter, leprechauns should be held accountable not only for her career but for those of the entire cast of Friends ? which in jail time translates to six consecutive life sentences (actually, I?ve just viewed Lisa Kudrow in Romy and Michelle?s High School Reunion and Matt LeBlanc in Ed and we?re gonna bump it up to death). What?s that? You?d like to know if there?s any chance of an appeal for the franchise? Well for something like that to happen some completely awesome director like Darren Lynn Bousman would have to vouch for it. But that?s completely ludicrous, he?d never?oh, wait. Yep, it?s true, recently MTV News caught up with the Saw/Repo helmer, who spoke briefly of his interest in a possible revival of the Leprechaun franchise. So what are DLB?s plans for the titular McCreep of the series? Apparently Bousman doesn?t even see it as a horror movie, in the interview he stated (and I quote?), ?Back to the old west. You send him in a time machine and transport him to the old west. There are gold rushes. There are gunfights. It?s awesome! I have the whole thing already worked out!? Let's not count him out yet - he is the man behind the better portion of the Saw series. Stay tuned.
