Well, summer is over. But as the leaves begin to turn, horror fans can pump themselves up for the plethora of excellence that the imminent Halloween season will supply. Jack-o-lanterns and candy corn aside, we the horror community understand that scary movies are a year-long affair. So let?s not forget those things awaiting us after we?ve had the chance to enjoy our fifth anniversary with the Saw franchise. What things you ask? Well, this morning the web just received a friendly reminder as to some activities one could engage in. Yep, we got a massive After Dark Horrorfest III site update! That?s right, the entire new site for the wildly popular tradition of Horrorfest has cropped up online and that?s not all? After Dark has also added one more film to the roster of eight, as well as posting the dates we?ll be able to bask in the blood that Horrorfest is sure to rain upon us. Joining the likes of previously announced participants Broken, Perkins? 14, Slaughter, and Butterfly Effect: Revelation will be Phedon Papamichael's From Within, a film set in a small community hit by a rash of suicides. Within is set to star Elizabeth Rice, Thomas Dekker, Kelly Blatz, Laura Allen, Adam Goldberg and Rumer Willis. As for the release of Horrorfest, the official website states that we can expect it from January 2nd to the 9th. Personally, I can?t wait and I?m sure you people can?t too.
