With Twilight filling the coveted Thanksgiving slot that the latest installment of Harry Potter left vacant, the film apparently hasn?t even wrapped shooting. This shouldn?t suggest that the film is in any kind of trouble though. According to an interview MTV News had with several of the cast members, the producers like the film so much and are so excited about it that they decided to bring the cast back for, as Peter Facinelli (who will play Carlisle Cullen) puts it, ?encore time? to beef it up!? As of now, the Twilight team is rehearsing at director Catherine Hardwicke?s home but should be back on set later this week. So what kind of scenes can you expect in the new cut? "I can tell you it's a flashback scene. It gives us a little bit of history of the Cullen family. ... They are just shooting a couple of different added scenes, and the scene I'm in, I can tell you it's me and Robert Pattinson. ... Rosalie and Emmett are in that scene," is what Facinelli had to say. But cast member Taylor Lautner added that his character, Jacob Black, would be returning for more screen time as well: ?Well, I am going to be in the prom scene now, at the very end of the film. At first we didn't film that, and now some people are saying they want to see a bit more of Jacob, and they want him in the prom scene at the end." Twilight will release on November 21st, until then you can enjoy Twilight author Stephanie Meyer?s latest installment in the book series, Breaking Dawn, which dropped on August 2nd.
