Man, the serial killers are using the buddy system this morning! Another serial-murdering pic has been announced (via the Hollywood Reporter), this time pairing director Mark Pellington (The Mothman Prophecies, Arlington Road) up with the recently Warner-merged New Line Cinema for the killer thriller Solace. The story revolves around a former doctor with psychic abilities, who's drawn into a serial killer case only to find the killer is also a psychic, leading up to a showdown between the two, who can detect each other's every move. Yeah, I couldn?t make that up. I?m not that good... The script was derived from a previous work by penmen Sean Bailey and Ted Griffin, and given a makeover by Zodiac scribe Jamie Vanderbilt ? so now you can expect the longest, slowest-moving ?thriller? of all time ? but this time sans Robert ?Downey Soft? Jr. and Jake Gyllenhaal. Oh boy?
