Paramount came to terms this weekend with director Frank Borin (Kidnapped) to helm the big-screen adapt of stage play The Butcherhouse Chronicles. Variety reports that the project, penned by Michael Hildalgo, is a horror-comedy centering on four high school students out to discover the truth behind a mysterious old property known as the Butcherhouse, the stage show debuted in New York in 2006. Platinum Dunes will oversee production. Well, it's sort of a remake.
