Brittany Snow Joins 'Clock Tower'
The Clock is ticking for actress Brittany Snow. Yes, according to Variety, the hottie has nabbed a role in the upcoming adaptation of the Clock Tower video game series. About a thousand years ago (it seems), we nabbed a copy of the Clock Tower screenplay and now production has finally gotten rolling. With a November start date for the pic, Senator Entertainment has tapped Martin Weisz (The Hills Have Eyes II) to direct Snow and her cast mates. No word yet on who else will be joining, but Snow definitely seems like a good start considering her experience in the genre (last year?s Prom Night). So what is Clock Tower? Oh, well according to Variety, it centers on a troubled psychiatric patient who witnessed her parents die and is constantly plagued by religious imagery. Really? Because last time I checked, the video game was about a girl with a pair of gigantic scissors running around chopping people in half? Ahhh, Hollywood! Replacing awesome scissor fights with religious imagery since 1930!
