Rogue Pictures keeps going seriously out of its way to maintain its rep as the ?Gomer Pyle? of horror movie outlets. That?s right, according to Variety, Rogue is ?experimenting? (and by experimenting I mean taking all action necessary to destroy) with a new horror pic by signing on Stomp the Yard writer Robert Adetuyi to pen a new untitled teen thriller. All that has been revealed about the plot is that it will be ?in the vein of Disturbia,? which in studio lingo means it will be an unapologetic rip-off of Disturbia, which incidentally was an unapologetic rip-off of Alfred Hitchcock?s Rear Window (which was an adaptation of Cornell Woolrich?s short story, ?It Had To Be Murder? ? a work Disturbia filmmakers are currently being sued over plagiarizing). Great job, Rogue Pictures! Way to keep the creative juices flowing!
