'28 Months Later' On The Way?!
Don?t act so surprised you knew this was coming. With the break out success of Danny Boyle?s 2002 zombie hit 28 Days Later and the passable numbers of its follow-up, 28 Weeks Later (which opened in a very competitive 2007 summer season), plus a franchise name that could go on forever ? it was inevitable that Fox Atomic would hammer out? 28 Months Later. Okay, now it?s time to act surprised: According to MTV, Danny Boyle has hinted that he may return to direct the third pic in the series! Whaaaa?! Boyle stated in an interview with MTV that he had what he thought to be a really cool idea for the third film which he will be presenting to the studio sometime quite soon. As for him helming the next installment? ?It?s a possibility,? Boyle stated shyly. Either way, I?m totally psyched to see what else this franchise has to offer and even more so to hear what Boyle?s premise will be for the film. Stay tuned.
