'Blood' to Stay 'True' in Year 2!
Hey all, just got an email from HBO with news that the hit new vampire series True Blood has been approved for a second season. Looks like production is set to begin in the early months of 2009, so drink up and stay tuned. The official press release says that due to the way the critics and fans have embraced the show, they?re all set for a whole new season! As most of America now knows (thanks to some relentless advertising on the part of HBO), True Blood, based on the series of books written by Charlaine Harris, ?takes place in the not-too-distant future, when vampires have come out of the coffin, thanks to the invention of mass-produced synthetic blood that means they no longer need humans for their fix.?
