This year seems to be the year of the vampire in the horror community. While the past decade or so has been, for the most part, a run of hack-n-slashers and zombie flicks, the vampire film has (pun very intended) been hiding in the shadows. This fall?s cinematic fashion, however, seems to be quite fixated on those old blood suckers (even Batman and Superman are fighting vampires!). Yes, with the upcoming release of the Twilight movie and this summer?s release of the latest book in the Twilight series, Breaking Dawn, as well as some support from the vamp-centric True Blood and our very own web series, 30 Days of Night: Dust to Dust, it seems that those nasty nightstalkers are rising from the tomb once more ? and FEARnet is proud to be vampire central!
