Werewolves and Vampires and Batman, Oh My!
DC Comics are getting into the holiday spirit in a big way ? by pitting label favorites Batman and Superman against the two monsters almost as cool as zombies. Yes, according to Comic Book Resources, DC plans to launch the first issue of the Superman and Batman vs. Vampires and Werewolves mini-series on October 15th followed by the second installment on October 29th. Tom Mandrake will provide the artwork, and the comic?s story has been provided by famed horror author/filmmaker Kevin VanHook. Of the comic, VanHook has this to say: ?Well, Supes has this problem with magic and the characters he?s confronted with are supernatural in origin so he finds himself with the odds stacked against him? Of course, he?s still Superman.? The Dark Knight and the Man of Steel facing off with vamps and werewolves? Count me in!
